John Wallace DDS
Dr. Wallace graduated with distinction from the UCLA School of Dentistry in 1993, and for over 30 years has been a successful and beloved private practitioner in Los Alamitos and San Clemente.
With his combined experience as a practicing dentist and a faculty member at a local dental assisting college, Dr. Wallace takes great pride in having mentored hundreds of dental assistants.
Dr. Wallace is our CEO: Chief Encouragement Officer.

Katherine
Ahn-Wallace DDS
Dr. Katherine Ahn Wallace graduated from the UCLA School of Dentistry in 1993 and completed a pediatric dental residency in 1995 from the UCLA School of Dentistry.
Dr. Ahn specializes in sleep and TMJ therapy, orofacial development, and orthodontics which facilitate the harmony between the jaw, muscles, teeth, and the airway. Dr. Ahn founded and operates Aviara Centers, where she helps her patients achieve beautiful smiles and optimal health through proper lifestyle and jaw, facial, and airway development.
An educator at heart, Dr. Ahn founded both OCCares and the Aviara Institute. She has a passion for raising and shaping the next generation of dental professionals through Aviara Academy.

Bren Evans RDA, MA
For 30 years, Bren has had the opportunity to engage in every corner of a rapidly growing dental industry. Having begun as an enthusiastic dental assistant and then slowly transitioning into administration and management, she has been able to see patient care and dental practice from different vantage points. These three decades have impressed upon her the value of balancing clinical expertise with the expanse of relational and leadership skills in practice.
Now, having added fourteen years of undergraduate and graduate education in Organizational Leadership, Bren has amassed a unique skill set. As the owner of Pep Talk Coaching Services and Program Director of Aviara Academy, she now turns her focus on passionately helping you and other dental professionals to unlock their individual potential.
Julie Frasso, RDA
For 40 years, Julie has dedicated her career to serving patients and practices in the OC area. With a wealth of experience and extensive knowledge in both General and Specialty practices, she is the ideal mentor for students in our program.
Julie's love for learning is not only infectious but also shines through as she enthusiastically shares her dental assisting expertise. Having taught at other dental assisting colleges in the area, she has now chosen our program. Our students are so fortunate to learn from a passionate professional who is committed to helping aspiring dental assistants thrive.
